I am sending you the care of a most capable nurse who
is just setting up for herself in Manchester. She comes of a
good stock in every sense of the word, and is a lady. She
has had a good deal of experience in Manchester, and I know
she is much thought of by doctors who know her.
I have had an opportunity of seeing her at work, and
can assure you she would be an asset to any doctor, especially
in the case of better class homes. She is naturally far above
the average in intelligence, has common sense, discretion and
tact. She is pleasant in manner, cheerful and hopeful.
You may think this is a full catalogue of good quali-
ties, but I may say we both feel it does bare justice to Hiss
Parkinson.
Her home is near us, one of the houses you fronted going
